What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
How Direct Primary Care Works
DPC is the fastest growing healthcare model in the country today. It allows primary care doctors to restore the close doctor-patient bond. This bond has been lost to insurance red tape and federal regulations. Costs are simplified, patients can spend more time with their physician, & the focus is on keeping you healthy.
Your Membership allows Dr. Jain to treat common everyday problems, keep you up to date on preventative screenings, manage chronic conditions, & more. The practice saves you money through established relationships with local laboratories & radiology centers, & can even dispense selected medications. Our goal is to make quality healthcare affordable, available, & less complicated.
Since routine care is covered by your Membership, you can save money on your health insurance. DPC Membership is not a health insurance plan. It can give you the choice of switching to a high-deductible insurance plan that will cost you less. Dr. Jain can coordinate your care if a major health issue arises.
The Benefits of Direct Primary Care
DPC is personal.
Access to your physician is one of DPC’s biggest advantages. We commit to fewer patients than traditional primary care providers. This allows us to take the time you need. We give you the care and attention that is necessary. We will never rush you out of our office.
Our contract is with you, not your insurance company.
Your Membership fees go directly to your care, not into an insurance company’s pocket. Without the red tape we can guide you to the most appropriate care at the lowest cost. If a major medical event occurs we can coordinate with specialists & hospitals. We will answer your questions, keep up with your preventative screenings, & offer lifestyle & diet recommendations.
Affordable & uncomplicated.
Monthly Membership fees give a cost-effective solution. They allow us to offer high-quality care. Additionally, we give excellent support throughout the year. We are here for you when you are sick or hurt – & when you are healthy. We work proactively to keep you happy, healthy & living your best life. Insurance-based healthcare is focused on illness – we treat illness & are focused on your wellness.
No mark-ups.
When we charge you for a service you can be assured that we are not out to make a profit. There are two main players in the DPC model: the doctor & the patient. We do not let insurance companies tell us what to charge, we aim to charge what services cost.
Membership is not health insurance.
The DPC model does recommend a catastrophic health insurance policy for worse-case scenarios. Purchasing a low-premium, high-deductible, catastrophic policy will give coverage for serious illness or injury.
